CMI Instructor Resources

Introduction

CMI exists to meet the needs of the metalcasting industry through the development and delivery of continuing, scientific and technical education. We strive to provide relevant, applicable, high-quality courses and learning events for individuals at all levels in the industry. While a few of our courses are taught by technical staff of AFS and CMI, most of our instructors are industry experts with numerous years of hands-on experience.

We are always looking for individuals with a passion for metalcasting, who want to share their knowledge and experiences with others, for the betterment of our industry.

CMI Certified Instructor Program

CMI has deployed a new CMI Certified Instructor (CMI-CI) Program, and all new instructors will be required to complete this program in order to teach courses and receive compensation. See the application below for more details as to the scope and requirements of this program. Review the course catalog for current offerings from CMI, to see where your skills may be utilized. If a need for a new program can be established, CMI will consider creating new courses upon suggestion. If you are interested in teaching courses for CMI, please fill out and submit the application.

Compensation will not be discussed unless an application has been submitted and you have been selected as a potential CMI Certified Instructor Candidate. Candidates may withdraw their application at any time.
